Play a demo of our screen reader and keyboard functionality to improve canvas accessibility

Last month, we announced functionality to enable navigation between elements on MURAL’s digital canvas using keyboard shortcuts. This video demonstration moves through the new shortcuts and how to listen to information on sticky notes or area titles within a mural using a screen reader.

And some small but mighty updates:

  • Quick and easy alignment when you hold Shift while moving objects on the canvas: the new constrained dragging feature creates alignment lines to guide movement so you can design polished murals with less effort.
  • The new Embed.ly integration lets you add view-only mural embeds to hundreds of popular websites and applications. Get started here.
  • The MURAL App for Teams is now Microsoft 365 Certified, which means it has been rigorously vetted against controls derived from leading industry standard frameworks, and that strong security and compliance practices are in place to protect customer data. *Currently in public beta. Subject to testing and defects. Provided warranty free, "as is" and "as available" basis. MURAL not liable for any losses that may result from public beta.
