February 14, 2023

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — February 14, 2023 — Mural is proud to be Certified™ by Great Place to Work® for the third year in a row! This certification, a gold standard in employer rankings, is one of the most prestigious awards since it is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at Mural. Great Place to Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention, and increased innovation. This year, 81 percent of U.S.-based employees said Mural is a great place to work, which is 57 points higher than the average U.S. company.

“Great Place to Work Certification™ isn’t something that comes easily – it takes ongoing dedication to the employee experience,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of global recognition at Great Place to Work. “It’s the only official recognition determined by employees’ real-time reports of their company culture. Earning this designation means that Mural is one of the best companies to work for in the country.”

As a fully remote team of 600 people working from 22 countries around the world, Mural values creativity and imagination, working together to “generate wows,” making others successful, and adapting to thrive — all while having fun. With so many different cultures, skill sets, and a wide generation of unique perspectives from around the globe, Mural exemplifies one of its core values to “think global” where 94 percent of employees say they are treated fairly regardless of their race.

A culture of learning is baked into Mural’s mission and values aimed at helping employees level up in their careers. The company invests in coaching for all Muralistas that is tailored to each employee to help them be and do their best. Mural also offers career growth workshops through LifeLabs Learning, and offers a monthly stipend that covers wellness, learning and development, and home office (or remote workspace) setup.

“At Mural, our employees are the foundation of our success. We strive to foster a culture of belonging, embracing new ideas and ways of working to drive innovation for the benefit of the customers we serve,” said Libby Juelsgaard, Chief People Officer at Mural. “Being Great Place to Work-Certified™ reflects our ongoing commitment to making Mural an inclusive place to work where people feel connected to our purpose and vision, and can actively contribute and develop rewarding careers.”

According to Great Place to Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a Certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at Certified workplaces are 93 percent more likely to look forward to coming to work, and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company’s profits and have a fair chance at promotion.
