High Contrast Mode and Company Settings

Recover content and improved templates section

Β πŸ™Œ Recover content. If you or any team member deleted ideas from a mural by mistake, you can now recover them directly from the Activity Feed.

πŸ› From within a MURAL, when pressing the back arrow, users were being redirected to the room where that mural was, instead of going to the previous place in the dashboard.

πŸ› Workspace names had an issue with lower/upper case. It's now fixed.

πŸ› Admins could deactivate users that were not yet active.

πŸ› Duplicating a room to another workspace not always copied all murals.

πŸ› Anonymous links have now a clearer UI that properly displays available settings.

πŸ™Œ Do you have a new Apple Pencil? If you double-tap on the mural while drawing with your Pencil, we will change the pen to an eraser. You can change your Pencil behavior in the iOS Settings menu, including swapping between pens, opening the color picker, or just ignoring the gesture.

πŸ™Œ Adding links to your mural is now super easy. Just copy the link from any app and click in the mural to paste. We will create a link element if you pasted an URL, a sticky if it's a short text, or a text-box if it's longer.

πŸ™Œ You can now undo your drawings from the top bar.

πŸ’ͺ We're making MURAL Scan better and better, and we are getting closer! We've changed the way we detect sticky notes to better scan stickies the first time and prevent manual corrections. We fixed a bug that caused stickies to be duplicated.

πŸ’ͺ The edition bars at the bottom were behind the home bar in the latest iPad.

Secret outline release and editable templates

πŸ™Œ You can now add any element to the Outline. Before, only areas could be added. This will open up the possibility for facilitators and participants to take advantage of the mural and lead/ follow in a clear and organized way. This has been enable in selected workspaces only.

πŸ™Œ You can send users directly to any element in the Outline so participants land exactly where they’re supposed to (same restrictions as above)

πŸ™Œ If you have a published template, you can now edit it without having to duplicate it. Only available in selected workspaces.

πŸ™Œ Some g2k workspaces in trial now have a β€œrequest demo” button in the dashboard.

πŸ’ͺ We Added a visual division between the left sidebars and the mural.

πŸ’ͺ The Outline button now appears in templates, so you can browse the Outline of any template to see how it’s used.

Add links to sticky notes and manage members faster

πŸ™Œ Sticky notes are great to synthesize concepts. But, sometimes you just need to add a little more context. That’s why you can now attach a link directly to a sticky.

πŸ’ͺ Expanded the mural a bit too much? You can now undo and redo to retrieve the latest size.

πŸ’ͺ No one really wanted the pre-populated caption that appeared on searched images, so we removed it.

πŸ’ͺ Member list - We added new interactions to it. When you select some (but not all) rows on a page, you will now see a β€œ-β€œ (minus) in the bulk checkbox. If you click on it, it will unselect all selected rows.

πŸ’ͺ Member List - Inactive members/guests will now appear with their avatar gray-scaled and a bit more transparent than active users.

πŸ’ͺ Member List - When downloading the CSV, the invited by field used to have a username. Now it will contain that user’s email address.

πŸ’ͺ Accessibility - the share modal has now been fully redesigned in terms of accessibility.

πŸ’ͺ Transfer content ownership - When transferring someone’s content, unshared murals within private rooms weren’t being transferred. Now, all content will be transferred to the designated user.

πŸ’ͺ Deleting Rooms - We added a validation that will check if a room is empty or not when you try to delete it. If it has murals in it, it will let you know how many murals you are about to delete and will ask for your confirmation before allowing you to delete the room.

πŸ› There was no way to remove a link from an image or sticky, the clear button wasn’t working as expected.

πŸ› A sticky would lose its attached link when changing its format.

πŸ› The connectors stayed behind the content when organizing to an area.

πŸ› The link to a specific mural’s element was missing the initial "https://β€œ, which other apps didn't recognize as a hyperlink.

πŸ› The title element would lose the text cursor when changing its font or background color.

πŸ› The file’s image would reload each time it appeared on screen again after panning or zooming.

πŸ› When deleting an element while moving it around, it stayed as a ghost widget for the other online collaborators.

πŸ› Changing the stickies' type would detach their connected lines and arrows.

πŸ› Sidebar and top-bar menus were accessible by using `tab` during draw mode.

πŸ› File upload wasn't working in IE11 on Windows 10.

πŸ› The canvas top-bar and side-bar where not actionable when the performance warning was on screen (1000+ elements).

πŸ› If there are no votes cast during a voting session, closing the session will just end the session instead of showing you the results from the previous session
