iOS Release

πŸ™Œ If flowcharts are your thing, you can now get creative with brand new shapes including triangles, diamonds, pentagons, and hexagons!

πŸ› Grouping and ungrouping elements that were connected was messing the connectors in the canvas.

Control who can end voting sessions and connect ideas inside a canvas

Web Release

πŸ™Œ Restrict who can end voting sessions: One of the biggest complaints regarding voting is that when someone starts a session, often someone else will accidentally end it before it's time. This cuts sessions short and creates re-work, and is frustrating for the person who was running the session. When a user begins a voting session, they'll be able to designate who is able to end the session. They'll have two options: (1) Any member of the mural, which would be just like today, or (2) Just themselves and any facilitators in that mural.

πŸ™Œ Want to build immersive presentation for your collaborators? Adding an element’s link to a sticky note or textbox will allow them to jump to other elements directly when clicking on the β€œGo to >” button.
πŸ™Œ Quickly connect existing arrows to other elements by dragging their handler to snap to the best points. Only available in selected workspaces
πŸ’ͺ All options in the voting menu: One of the main complaints about voting is that they don't know how to find their voting results. We think exposing them to where to find them when they go to start the session will help. It is also standard, according to our guidelines about when to show and disable vs. hide actions.

πŸ’ͺ Instantly see if an arrow is connected to an element when selected. The handler will now change to blue when it is connected and white when it isn’t. Only available in selected workspaces
πŸ’ͺ Some stickies had text colors which were hard to read, so we switched them to white.
πŸ’ͺ Shapes and drawings are now easier to select when clicking on them while zoomed out.
πŸ’ͺ Connectors and drawings are now easier to select when doing a marquee selection.
πŸ› The outline didn't show all the instructions inserted in the modal.
πŸ› Calendar links were cut, and users couldn't enter them.
πŸ› Outline Scroll was moving when clicking an outline entry without instructions.
πŸ› "Create mural from Template/guide" modal was showing rooms in which the user doesn't have permission to create murals.

πŸ› Guests wouldn't be able to click and drag to expand the edges of the canvas anymore.
πŸ› The elements' bounding box was off-centered
πŸ› Some modal spinners weren’t working while performing a long task
πŸ› Undoing a massive lock would just unlock one element rather than all.

πŸ› β€œLock allβ€œ was taking too long.
πŸ› Right-click to edit a PDF caption used to freeze the mural.
πŸ› Some Chrome versions (with an experiment flag) were not able to see or add textbooks.
πŸ› Multiple fixes and enhancements to prevent content loss and trying to reconnect issues!

πŸ› Users that had a workspace in free-trial and their company allowed to create workspaces were not able to do it. Now, this is fixed and they should be able to do it.

πŸ› Duplicate murals were not working or were showing rooms of another workspace.
